Well, we had a perfect evening for Indian summer 37. High 70s low humidity and clear skies. About 20 classmates joined in for a nice evening of food, spirit, and talk.

Heidi had a birthday coinciding with the party, so we all sang her a rousing “Happy Birthday”! Good thing ASCAP didn’t get wind of it or we would have had to pay a fee!

Jeanne and Dan spent the previous night on their boat in dock…but haven’t taken it out yet.

In true form, Janet told of her car getting totaled while parked in front of her house. We’re starting to think that these get-togethers are causing these things to happen to her!

Stu is still painting and managing his gallery.

Jeremy is spending much time with the Train Museum working as a volunteer in between everything else “the most interesting man in the world” does!.

I drove Steve – O out of the place by talking with him about our work at the big (or not so big) X!

Sharon brought John a beautiful “Indians Forever” IHS T-shirt; gold letters on blue shirt; looks awesome (contact Sharon if interested)!

Kathy and I discussed our fathers, who have known each other since high school. Her dad was best man at my parents’ wedding!

Marc and Wendy are doing a lot of work on the house between motorcycle outings.

Gary has been hitting concerts like CSN and Molly Hatchet, and the boat is ready for action!

The sign in sheet showed “Tiger Woods” was in attendance, but I suspect he is AKA John Hart (whose name was mysteriously absent for the sign in sheet!)

Phil and I had a brief discussion about work, and it was good to see Alla back again with the group.

Ellen was lamenting the passing of the fabulous Ford Escape Hybrid, but may just pick up one of the last of the ‘12s before its production is discontinued.

Well, that’s about all I can remember (my infamous horrible memory again; and I wasn’t even drinking!), so with that, it was a great night and we all hope that many more of you can join us for future gatherings. It’s much fun, so don’t be afraid to pop in and have few laughs with us old time IHS “Indians Forever”.

Until next time, Aloha! HL
