Gregory Covey
Rochester - Gregory passed away peacefully on March 19, 2022 at age 64. Predeceased by his parents, Bruce & Catherine Covey. Survived by his wife, Kimberly Covey; stepchildren, Melanie (Branden) Schafer and Amanda Frank; grandchildren, Alec Yacono, Aiden Schafer and Katelynn Schafer; Karmen Chabot & Chevy Frank; siblings, Debra (Michael) Sweeney, Steven (Ken Hephaestion) Covey and Tricia (Pete Burns) Covey.
Greg was a retired Software Engineer. Greg's passion was designing, building and flying Remote Control Airplanes and Drones. He loved hanging out in his back yard with family and friends, enjoying Cocktails and the occasional Cigar. He was the founder of the Covey Wine Tasting Service. If you had a bottle of wine, he would gladly taste it for you.

I remember Greg as a good friend in high school. He was non-clique-ish, and had a good sense of humor. I could be myself around him, which we all know was not always easy with everyone in school days. RIP my friend.David Levine
Greg lived around the corner from me on Miller Lane growing up. Greg was a great guy and a founding Charter Member of my business, Great Lakes Gym (at Titus & Cooper), which would became Gold's Gym. RIP Greg

I reconnected with Greg about 3 years ago via email. I had not talked to him since HS. He told me he retired early due to an illness. So sorry to hear that Greg passed. He was a really good guy and I will always remember he had a terrific smile. God bless
