Many of us who grew up with Augie were very affected by his passing.
I lived fairly close to Augie when his family lived on Shadow lawn court.We went all through school (since Kindergarten) plus religious instructions at Christ the Kng, etc...
Augie was much different as a kid than he was in his later High School years.
I like to remember the cute dark haired boy with big dimples that was always smiling and kind.

Augie passed away in September 1975, just a couple of months after we graduated. His grave is just two plots away from our Mom & Dad's graves.
