Jean Louise (Jeannie) MacConnell of Laurel, MD crossed over from this world on Sunday, January 28, 2018 surrounded by her beloved Frank Keating and other members of her family. Jean was born October 31, 1956 in Rochester, NY. She attended West Irondequoit High School and graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Canton College. She then enrolled in the Medical Technologist program at Rochester Institute of Technology and graduated with a BS. Her career in the medical field included working at Washington Hospital Center, Suburban Hospital and Kaiser Permanente. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Gloria MacConnell and Eugene MacConnell. She is survived by her partner Frank Keating, sisters Karen Julihn (Larry Julihn) and Dahe Good (Aedan James), her brother Bruce MacConnell, niece Meagan McKechnie and grandniece Emma Hegenbarth, nephew Kellen McKechnie (Emily Dickert) and stepmother Lynne MacConnell (Len Franklin). A memorial service will be held at 11:30 Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 8300 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD 20814. Interment will be in Webster, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's name to CDS Monarch, 860 Hard Road, Webster, NY 14580.
A local memorial service will be held on Friday February 16th at the Webster United Church of Christ 169 East Main Street Webster, NY 14580. Calling hours begin at 3:00pm followed by a service at 4:00pm.
