IHS CLASS OF 1975

7/31/2025

Hi friends!

WOW! JUST WOW!

Some of the comments left on our IHS Facebook page:

Memories made forever for all of us!

A weekend I will treasure forever!

It was like 1975 again, only better!

What a terrific bunch of people we grew up with!

Some of the words scattered throughout the Facebook posts:

Spectacular, Outstanding, Fantastic, Overwhelming, Remarkable, Bravo!

There were multiple favorable comments on the buffet provided by Forest Hill Catering, we had an In Memory video playing on a loop and the big surprise was Netsin's ICE CREAM TRUCK!

I think we can all agree it was a successful reunion weekend beginning with the golf tournament and ending with brunch at IBC!

There is a site where we can post our reunion pictures to a central location to be posted where we can all view them. Alla Feldman Levi is taking the lead on this. To upload your pictures to PicturesQR, copy and paste this into your browser:

Quick directions: click on the IHS Class of 1975 50th Reunion Upload link. Add your name. Click on where it says Tap here to select files. It will take you to your photo gallery. Select your pictures. Scroll down and you will see the upload button. Click on upload. If you have any troubles or questions direct them to Alla Feldman Levi at alevi225@yahoo.com

We had folks come from 24 states! AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NV, PA, SC, TN, VA, WA, WI, WV and Toronto, Canada! It was a tie between Don Abbott, Roberta Murawski, and Larry Walther as to who came the farthest! We thank everyone that made the effort to come and we know that it was challenging for some. We appreciate each and everyone of you!!!

We'd like to thank everyone that donated during the registration process. This money will go towards keeping our website up and running which is instrumental in keeping us all informed and in contact with one another! THANK YOU!!!

A special shout out to Jim Rehbach. Jim was a tremendous asset to us during the planning of our reunion and beyond! Jim is on the board at the fire department and hosted us at the Exempt's for a couple of meetings so we could see the venue and get our ideas formulated for staging our event. We can't even put in to words how helpful this was! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Jim!!!

The golf tournament was also a great success! Todd Black and Jeanne Travers have been hosting this golf tournament in honor of David Leshner for 28 years! There were close to 90 golfers. Over 30 from our class either played or helped in some fashion. Others donated to hole sponsorships and made donations. Also, another 30+ folks who graduated from other IHS classes, including siblings and children of our classmates, participated. This golf tournament is truly a labor of love and remembrance of David Leshner!

Every year following the golf tournament a donation is made in David Leshner's memory. This year Todd would like to donate to The St. Paul Fire Department and to the St. Paul Fireman's Exempt Club as a huge thank you to Jim Rehbach for his very valuable help in pulling off our 50th reunion!

During the IHS tour it was suggested that we purchase another brick commemorating our 50th reunion. We currently have a brick in the courtyard that says IHS Class of 1975 Indians forever. We thought this was a great idea and will indeed purchase a brick for our 50th!!!

Thank you to everyone and anyone that helped us in any capacity throughout the planning process, setting up and cleaning up at the reunion. We thank you!!!

Save your button for future events. Put it in your sock drawer!

I think of us as an extended family. Over the years, with our 5 year reunions, our Indian Summer picnics, and our holiday parties we have become more than friends we've become family! We have something very special going on here IHS class of 1975 and it's really cool!

It's not a party if no none shows up! Thank you ALL for showing up! It sure was a GREAT party!

On deck:

Please join us at Whiskey River for our holiday gathering! Details forthcoming. Also, join our group on Facebook. Search W. Irondequoit High School Class of 1975 and join!

Highly encouraged by a spectacular 50th reunion weekend, your reunion committee is now planning our annual Holiday Party!

Info to come so stay tuned!

 Thanks to our classmates who donated to our class via the Pay Pal website! A Class of '75 brick was purchased and installed in the IHS courtyard in 2014. Thanks to Bambi Kleehamer for the idea and to Sharon Keating for taking care of the business!

IN MEMORY

"Death can show us the way, for when we know and understand completely that our time on this Earth is limited, and that we have no way of knowing when it will be over, then we must live each day as if it were the only one we had.
Life is so fragile;
EVERY DAY IS A GIFT . . ."

This page lists the names of our deceased alumni. We have very limited information regarding the dates or circumstances of their passing as well as where their path took them after IHS up until their passing.
If any of our information is incorrect or you have information concerning these alumni; please email me at phil.parcells@gmail.com.

We were saddened to learn of their passing; so this webpage was created so that we can pay tribute to their memory and to know that they will not be forgotten.
You may also post your memory of these classmates on their In Memory page. Click on the In Memory link at the top of the page and then click the "Post Comment" button. Please be honorable to their memory in your posts.

IHS ALMA MATER

 Hail, Hail Irondequoit our Alma Mater dear.
We praise thee for thy nobleness, thy honor we revere;
and though the years swiftly pass away, our love shall never die.
We have been inspired by thee the highest aims to try.

Hail, Hail Irondequoit, may sunshine fill thy halls;
and memories of thy sons and daughters echo from thy walls.
From thee we gained wisdom, honesty, leadership and skill.
Irondequoit where ere we travel, Alma Mater still.
