Once again, the weather gods shined on us with low 70s temperature and sunny and dry conditions for our first annual Rib Fest; Ribs courtesy of Stu Chait. While Stu worked hard, the rest of us pitched in by playing Bocci!!!

Stu slaved over his ribs alone during the previous evening at home and all morning at Durand Eastman Park Acorn Pavilion until guest began arriving about noon. Everyone brought a dish to pass and drinks. Believe it or not, there were no duplicate dishes. We had a great variety of picnic food that complimented Stu’s delicious ribs.

The ribs were ready a little after 2, and then we all sat together at a large outside picnic table and ate and talked. Everyone had a great time, and we discussed the possibility of adding the Rib Fest to our next reunion.

As these get-togethers go along, we have not only our usual regulars, but always a flow of different faces, as we did here. We always have a nice party and welcome everyone, so please feel free to join us on any occasion!
